I know guys like Kareem have done it, but in my lifetime Bron's the only basketball player thats been able to play at this high level for so long. a lot of dudes are already out the league at this age, much less being able to drop 30 on any given night.

At 39 kareem avg 17 and 7. The incredible thing about bron is that its like he still has it, the speed, the strength the agility

the way things are looking now I wouldn't even be shocked if bron retires as having the most games played

It's remarkable. He still wants to win too, it's not exactly a farewell tour. I admire his mental strength much more than his physical gifts. In Lebron's mind, he has to win. Anything else is a failure and that's why those that make fun of him find it easy to. Your Zions and Ja Morants are not even talking about winning yet, to them it's still just about them and being in the moment of it all(the money, the fame, the attention). They're gonna wake up in a couple of years and realize they're 30 and need to ring-chase. Lebron was basketball through and through and whether you liked him or not, he made it fun to watch the sport. A lot of these players just have the right height and athletism but not the passion. We gonna miss dude.

People forget at 23 he was called a loser for not winning a title yet

That’s crazy

Remember it was the “baby thunder” but they was older than lebron was when he was called a loser for not wining

And they called that 08 Celtics team old when they was just 31-33

But just last game so many was calling him every thing but a child of god for passing out of a double to cam for a shot at the end of a game

At 38-39

Luke Walton was his coach

Who was drafted the same year bron was

The fact that not only has he kept up this level for so long, but he’s kept it up WHILE being the most scrutinized athlete of all time is something incredible as well. I mean, Jordan essentially retired the first time in no small part due to the pressure coming from off the court. That mental toughness is unreal, on top of the fact he also built a full business empire simultaneously.

It starts with racists, and eventually starts gathering steam with white folks that aren’t racist per se but might parrot views/criticisms that seem non controversial or race neutral (he’s too political etc” but are really hidden signals. That gathers the Black folks who have identity issues. I don’t know any black folks without identity issues who are true haters.
My cousin hates the nikka, but then agian my cousin is Trump set.

It used to be "can he set the scoring record", and even 5 years ago lots of folk were on both sides of the fence.

Now it's "Can he score 45,000 points?"

Motherfukker could legit finish with more points than Elgin Baylor and Larry Bird.....combined. :dahell:

He's about to be 39 and is currently shooting the highest he's ever shot from 3 and the highest he's shot from the floor in like 10 years. Honestly at this age in his career I thought he'd be like a 20-25mpg player more of a facilitator avg like 15 and 7

dude is a one in a lifetime type player
