The problem is that even if that's true when a large part of a player's game is built on being so much faster and stronger than the opponents even if they're still the best athlete or one of the best it's not enough to live off of anymore. I look at it like Moss on the 49ers. He was still one of the more athletic players in the league but he wasn't head and shoulders above everyone like he used to be. That closing of the gap leads to relying on more fundamentals which a lot of us have criticized Lebron of lacking when it comes to one on one scoring and posting up.

Even though it was only one game and I'm not panicking too much there were some plays that really bothered me where it seemed like his body wasn't reacting as fast as his mind and he'd see an opening but his body wasn't able to take advantage.

Again you can make the case for harden and westbrook who choked at vital moments in the playoffs and same for lillard who dont perform in crucial period of games yet it would be false to label them washed. Naw it wouldn’t. I’d make him predictable. League has changed...playing from the inside out is a thing of the past. Even 6yrs ago...or in spurts even I’d be alright. But to operate full time from there now would slow down his team’s pace which means less possessions for them. That ain’t what they want.
