When you miss the shot, you LOSE.
And watch some Bulls games. All sorts of games where Pippen, Kerr, Kukoc, even Longley making the last-second shots, sometimes with Jordan passing it to them and sometimes with Jordan not even touching the ball on the final play.

It's more like 7 if you count last-10-seconds, but the ones he made with 1 or 2 seconds left don't count - only 3 true buzzer-beaters.
