How's Lebron's career better than Kobe but not Duncan when Kobe's career was better than Duncan. How are you better than the guy that put you out several times?

LeBron has better game tying numbers because he passes the ball to scrubs to inflate his numbers. Kobe takes them. If I'm a bench player, I'd rather be on Kobe's team. At least I know the star player will take the shot with the game on the line and not try to pass to me so he can protect his FG, and give me the pressure of making the shot and the media spotlight/criticism if I miss :heh:

LeBron James also quit several times in the Finals and Playoffs. I'm sure you brought up the Phoenix game to discredit Kobe several times but you quiet as a church mouse regarding Lebron scoring 4 points and barely averaging 17 over the course of a championship series  But hey....that's the logic yall employ :russ:

Steve Nash is 2-1 against Kobe

Dirk is 1-0 against Kobe.

Nash has 2 Mvps, Kobe has 1.

Keep thinking the world is flat though.

More numbers getting put out:

This was the third time in his career that James hit a game-winning shot at the buzzer during a postseason game, according to ESPN Stats & Info. That's the same number that Michael Jordan hit in his career.

In the playoffs LeBron has now taken 10 potential go-ahead shots in the final five seconds of the fourth quarter or overtime. He's connected on six of them, according to ESPN's Brian Windhorst. Jordan was 5-of-11 in such situations during his career.

And let's not leave Kobe Bryant out of this conversation either. LeBron is now 8-of-19 on potential game-tying or go-ahead shots taken in the final 24 seconds of the fourth quarter or overtime during postseason games, per ESPN's Aloki Pattani. Bryant has hit less (7) despite taking more (28). And if you expand to the final minute of playoff Q4/OT, Lebron is 13/27 and Kobe is 10/37 on game-tying/go-ahead field goals.

LeBron has now played 166 total playoff games. In total he's averaging 27.9 points, 8.5 rebounds and 6.5 assists while shooting 48 percent from the field. Jordan played in 179 playoff games and averaged 33.4 points, 6.4 rebounds and 5.7 assists and shot 49 percent from the field.

LeBron's postseason Player Efficiency Rating is 27.4; Jordan's was 28.6.

When LeBron's been on the floor during the playoffs his teams have scored 115 points per 100 possessions and surrendered just 101, per Basketball Reference. For Jordan those numbers were 118 and 104.

As for Kobe, he's played in 220 playoff games. His averages are 25.6 points, 5.1 rebounds and 4.7 assists. He's connected on 45 percent of his postseason shots. His postseason Player Efficiency Rating is 22.4. His offensive rating is 110 and his defensive rating is 106.

So overall the Lebron/Jordan numbers are close, but you can't say that Lebron is ahead of Jordan by any means. What you CAN say is that it's impossible to claim that Lebron isn't clutch, whether you're talking overall playoff performance or specifically last-second shots.

The advanced stats for last-second shots look good for Lebron when compared to other players too - in fact, he's got the best numbers on game-winners of the last 15 years, when such record-keeping started.

I love how the fake basketball fans expose themselves, wishing that an off-the-court, completely irrelevant action had decided the game. :usure:

You can scroll up a bit to see how much more clutch Lebron is than Kobe in the playoffs. Comedy as yell to see Kobes stans talking about the plays leading to the last shot, after a couple decades of repeatedly watching Kobe miss 5-6 shots in the last 3 minutes before the game even got to a game-winning attempt.

And THIBS IS THE ONE WHO ASKED FOR THE OUT-OF-BOUNDS PLAY TO BE REVIEWED. So you can stop bytching about the refs helping the Cavs and eat your crow. :camby:
