You resorting to name calling for what? Cause you in ur feelings. I told you I have always been team Jordan. But a man who rebounds more is a better passer can guard more positions and is a better long range shooter who has done it for half of my adult life can't be considered just as good if not better? Get the fukk out of here. He wouldn't be making shyt if he wasn't playing WELL not cause he's STILL just playing.
Yes LeBron is better at SF/PF things than MJ, MJ is the goat though, his gameplay impact on his team led to a reign of dynasty, dominance, imperialism, fear and terror over the league.

He is you dumbass. If he wasn't still playing(longevity) he wouldn't be making shiit. Damn And if all was fair Jordan would have 10, TF are you

LeBron has been playing 22 years. he's 40 years old. His time has passed. He's ain't the consensus GOAT and never will be let it go

LeBron playing at an All NBA level after 22 years is why he has a case as the goat. This hasn’t been seen in any sport ever.

A TEAM COMPRISED OF LEBRON TEAMMATES WOULD LITERALLY WIN 10 STRAIGHT TITLES

:dead:
Yo this gotta be some crazy purgatory. This is the best the Lakers have been in 14 years and you can’t even enjoy it because of generational hating :laff:

If Bron were 6-4 in the Finals, he'd be the GOAT without question

Jordan had greater dominance over his competition so he is the man

Two 3peats IS Two 3peats

Edit: Don't forget. Mike beat the league MVP twice for a ring. He's on another level

GOAT IS BASED ON HOW GREAT U WERE AT YOUR VERY BEST.... NOT LONGEVITY LOL
Nonsense. Sugar Ray Robinson is considered the greatest boxer of all time, and not Roy Jones Jr. Walter Payton is considered the greatest running back of all time and not Barry Sanders. Messi is considered the greatest soccer player of all time and not Ronaldinho.

Numerous examples of longevity beating peak in sports.

90’s was a watered down era. The 97 Jazz wouldn’t win 40 games todays

He just gonna have to settle for longevity GOAT because that 2011 Finals:huhldup:

And I wish ppl quit with the "Bron dragged the 2007 Cavs to the Finals", when Iverson(all 6 feet of him)dragged a worse team to the Finals and didn't get swept when he got there and the 2001 Lakers were waaaay tougher than the 2007 Spurs. Those games in the 2007 Finals were actually close. Bron should have been able to close out at least ONE. I mean, damn:mjtf:
Lebron was 22 years old :skip:

Bron was 33 and going into Year 16 when he came to LA. Historically, that's "fall off" territory for NBA superstars. Even in this era where guys are playing better for longer, absolutely nobody in 2018, predicted he'd look like this, in 2025...

In almost 7 full years as a Laker:

•restored them to being a marquee franchise
•brought a championship (Y2) and two WCF runs to a franchise that, the previous 5 years, was winning 25.2 games/year; on a 6-year playoff drought when he got there; hadn't been to a WCF or won a title in 8 years before he got there
•set the All-Time scoring record and became the first 40k guy
•became the first combined 50k guy

He won't crack the pantheon Laker greats, who spent their entire careers as Lakers in Magic, Kobe, West. As it stands here today, Kareem and Shaq are still ahead of him in a Laker jersey...

But I said a year ago he's already passed Wilt in a Laker jersey, and I stopped entertaining any conversation about Pau or Worthy or Baylor two years ago when they went back to the WCF...

This #23 is getting retired in LA, at this point there should be no doubt. If he wins another championship here, they may give him a statue, because it's not gonna matter that he didn't spend his career here, the narrative will be that the greatest player of all time finished his career with the greatest franchise of all time. And did so in dominating fashion...

The conversation in years to come about who the GOAT is, is getting really close to swinging. When Bron came here, he had played 15 years, which was Mike's full career. You could already make the argument that his peak was as high as Mike's at that point in time...

Since he came to LA it's a complete blowout in terms of longevity now, but yall know how I feel about longevity. He'd already had a full career before he got here. I didn't need to see him play a minute in purple and gold to validate him as the GOAT----->he was already that when he got here...

Yall know I've ALWAYS said that and I feel even stronger about it today, than I did 7 years ago...

But in popular opinion, if you pay attention to the conversation, it's already been gradually shifting as the years go by. And the fact that he's been this great for this much longer than Mike was, is gonna sway some people here moving forward. For me, it's widening a gap that has been there since he became the GOAT in 2016. For some people though, it's gonna be enough to push him over...

I'm still ready for him to retire, let these young guys have their moment. 2026, will set the record for longest career ever at 23 years, and 23 years for #23 will be fitting. I'm still ready for him to go...

But it's a landslide: this guy is the greatest fukking basketball player of all time...
I gotta agree.

Peak MJ at his absolutely best >> LeBron at his absolute best, but the gap isn't THAT crazy.

Longevity is sometimes underrated in favor of a higher (but shorter) peak.

Bron vs MJ doesn't even feel like a worthwhile debate. Bron is an explosive freak athlete like Wilt or MJ, more longevity than Kareem, built/durable like Malone but with stats that exceed just about everyone that's ever played.

He will finish #1 All-Time in scoring and between #2 and #4 All-Time in assists (ain't nobody catching Stockton). For rebounds.....if he plays 2 more years, averages 8 rpg and plays 70 games per year, he'd finish just ahead of Barkley and just behind Pettit...making him a Top 20 rebounder.

He's a 1 of 1 and is past comparisons. MJ, Kareem and LeBron are on their own tier. After that, Magic/Bird/Steph/Kobe/Duncan....maybe even KG and Dirk.
