I remember in finals when Jordan couldn't check Magic one on one. Magic was serving MJ........Phil had to send Scottie:jawalrus:

Can I get an Amen if someone remembers and witnessed the
same thing?

This is one of those questions where the person who answers it gets criticized no matter what.

Answer: We can beat the Dream Team
Criticism: People become outraged for someone thinking they can challenge a team with MJ, Pippen, etc.

Answer: We can't beat the Dream Team
Criticism: He doesn't have any faith in his team. Therefore, he doesn't deserve to be on an Olympic roster.

Answer: No comment
Criticism: He's dodging the question because he doesn't have faith in his team.

Breh we all know this is pretending and fantasy. NO ONE knows who would win. It's for the fun of it.

Give me Kobe and Lebron. Magic is only good when he got HOFers everywhere on the court

Isn't Mike a HOFer? :heh: Based purely on ability and potential the choice would be Bron and Kobe aka the most athletic player on the court and the most skilled player on the court. Based on how they actually play I would have to go with the two MJs. Kobe would be out there shooting 30 footers while double teamed trying to prove he's the best and Bron would likely have a :merchant:  moment or two meanwhile Mike and Magic would be going for the throat from the jump.

You don't double team ANYONE in a 2on 2 breh:mjpls:
And IF there was a double team, understand that Jordan and Kobe both have the same EXACT game and mentality so I can't see either of them shooting 30 fooot jumpers over double teams while the other player is wide open under the hoop, despite their shoot first mentality.

I have seen kobe launch 3s over multiple nikkas with shaq dominating single coverage. Mike never did nothing like that. Kobe would be focused on trying to one up mike while mike would be more focused on winning.

:what:

WTF does any of this have to do with the international game?

and:

yeah, your agenda is showing.

UH.."agenda"? Anthony Davis has NO stats because he's yet to play a game. Laettner's numbers are for his Rookie year to show that he was no slouch. Those are ROY numbers these days.

International game - so Dream Team are better shooters (1-12) so you can't play a weak zone, giving them space. They are also better passers, so you can't play zone period, because they are better at finding the open man; that leaves one-on-one. They are used to the handchecking physical play, and still getting theirs, so you have to be up in their faces, something only Kobe does. And they have 2 Cs that face up or play low. So that's on offense.

Defense, '12 is too small. Dream Team has better rebounders, better shotblockers, better one-on-one defenders and are just as athletic. There is just no advantage for '12.

If Kobe got a chance to play against prime Jordan that fool would give his life on to court to make sure they win that game. I can't even imagine how hard this dude would play to prove he's better. He would probably shoot like 80% and die the next day due to exhaustion with a smile on his face.

he would be in mamba mode from tip off

Imma just be honest here, why anyone thinks the 92 team could hang with today's league is beyond me. It's damn near a different sport compared to then, not to mention the way cats handles are today.

To say they couldn't "hang" is ridiculous....I don't think they could have beat the 2008 Redeem Team at all..this team a little more suspect but I still think they beat th dream team....dudes are faster and bigger than they use to be....but what people fail to realize is that there's only so fast you can move while dribbling a basketball:laff: this ain't football...and there's only so fast u can move laterally as well so basketball will never change that much.....only a few nikkas in the history of basketball were really unbelievably quick with a basketball in there hands.

There's better defense now too.

:what: I really wonder if all you cats are 17 and under. Defense back then was called fouling. Look at some of the old Bulls/Pistons clips from the Jordan era. The NBA now is soft as fukk compared to back then.
