Bron missed too many layups and stopped hitting his jumper.
Makes sense.
Still, it was self inflicted, so it's his fault. No sympathy here.
He's the best player in the NBA.
Honestly, as dramatic as he made it look with the cast, considering he'd never want to make excuses - this does make sense
He was missing the easiest lay-ups
He stopped pulling up a lot, way less shots - we were thinking 'he's trying to be aggressive and drive' but he really had his shot going before
The 51-point game was a masterpiece and he was shooting and scoring at will, we didn't see any of that in game 2-3-4
Ultimately, the Warriors are an amazing, highly talented, super effective team so let's give them credit where credit is due. They have 2 snipers, they have KD and a great defensive mind in Draymond.
Cavs were highly untalented, LeBron was the only true consistent player (and K-Love with 10 points avg or something) but they were also grossly undercoached - Ty Lue shouldn't coach an NBA 2K team.
Ultimately the only chance the Cavs had was game 1. They could have won that game and delivered a mental blow to the Warriors, not enough to make them really worried since beating them 4x is hard, but it would've change the momentum. JR Smith is ultimately the player who blew that game for the Cavs and you have to give it up to the Warriors - while the Cavs mentally collapsed, they did what they had to do perfectly.
