Lebron could have posted something direct or aggressive and there still would have been people on here criticizing him for it. A public figure made a comment about his wife and he chose to respond publicly (passively or otherwise).
And for the record, what Will Smith did was lame. Context is everything and Chris Rock was doing his job as a comedic host for an award show, not being sassy on social media giving his unwanted opinion on another man’s marriage.

Lebron and his wife have literally been together since they were 17 years old. She’s NEVER, in all of that time, embarrassed or bad-mouthed him. She’s played the background, raised their children, and even now when she’s stepped into the limelight just a little bit she’s never slipped up.
THAT is a woman worth defending. And no matter who it is, whether Screamin A Smith or ignorant ass Kevin Gates, whenever a man speaks on another man’s wife the way in which that man responds is entirely up to them.
I guess when Bronny got into the league thats when people decided it was somehow open season to make comments on his entire family and him as a husband/father. Lebron has stayed mostly silent regarding criticism of HIMSELF these past 20 years but now that people want to aim at his family he’s got more than enough right to shoot back HOWEVER he sees fit. And ANY man who wouldn’t defend his wife after twenty years of her FLAWLESSLY holding him down doesn’t deserve a wife.
