He would have looked like that a few years ago if he attempted to play all 82 games.

But since he’s still chasing that ghost in Chicago, he wants to try and play all 82 games (like Jordan did at the same age) and now he can’t protect his averages like he did when he would strategically take off games in previous seasons.
You know, if y'all going to hate posting nonsense like this, you could at least make it funny or entertaining like @Trojan 24 does.

While it's amazing Bron is playing this late, it's because he's morphed into a Power Forward.

He has a Karl Malone-esque body. And Malone was able to put up 20ppg at 38 years old before he retired the next year at 39.

But it's time for Bron to hang it up. He has another year MAX. And that's pushing it. If he plays longer than that, like into 2026 and beyond, you're gonna see injuries, alot more 10 point games, looking slow and flabby. Gotta let it go breh.

After 21 years this type of up and down play by Bron should have been expected 5 or 6 years ago. He's staved off Father Time longer then any other player ever but he's finally slowing up. It is what it is cause he's still effective out there and can probably be 20 7 and 8 the next couple of seasons if he wants. But I think next season is probably it for Bron cause I can't see him settling for that nor do I see him letting those career averages drop to much either. Best believe he keeps account of that.

Malone was 39 nearing 40. He was 40 playing for the Lakers when he finally broke completely down.

Yeah he's a 4th option at best, maybe even a 6th man.

Problem is these idiots paying him max money :mjlol:

If they had a legit superstar (Not the gentle giant who get's PTSD over a poke in the eye) and quality 2/3 options, than Bron as a high IQ vet on a team friendly contract could definitely contribute to a winning team.

But he can't prop up a team anymore. The turnovers are starting to get sad. Barely any D. He can puff up his stats in games where he gets hot from three, but that's about all he's contributing at this point.

Not a knock on him either, the fact he's even playing at this age is impressive. But at some point his game has to be assessed beyond just "Wow Bron still out there at 39!". He ain't a make a wish kid. Bron don't need to be patronized like that.

If you think Bron still a top 20 player you lost, that would actually require showing up for more then 1 game a week :laff:
This is just flat out nonsense and untrue lebron is still a top 10-15 player in the league . He was all nba third team last season and was the best player along with curry in the summer olympics, he is averaging 22points , 9 rebounds and over 9 assists if that is looking old and washed, then that is asinine. Those numbers are better than what nash and some other all time greats where putting up in their prime and lebron is doing this as the oldest player in the league
