There is nothing "wrong" per say about his statement, the issue is with the underlying meaning of the statement itself. We all know LeBron aint playing 2nd fiddle to anyone in the next 5 or so years, he is just that good. So when he says he was ready to hand Kyrie the keys next year anyone who put two seconds of thought into it would realize he HAS to mean he is leaving. So as Kyrie why would you stay and take over a shell of a team that was built around LeBron when you can go to a better situation for yourself and not waste more time in Cleveland and have to deal with that circus next offseason.
