I like how you worded the thread title to give these Lebron haters ammo :mjlol:, he said "whenever HE was ready he was ready to hand over the keys" obviously Kyrie wasn't ready :yeshrug:
It's actually hilarious how badly worded the title is. He seemed more disappointed than angry or annoyed.

i believe lebron was ready to take a backseat to kyrie. the issue is the media will always put lebron name first. kyrie might not have been secure or mature enough to accept that regardless of what the media says. dude was in a great position. all he had to do was go out there and prove he was the future.

It's funny how people suggest that Bron treating him like a lil' nikka or him being viewed as the lil' nikka here is the reason he left when by any and every measure he is the lil' nikka compared to Bron and it's not like changing teams changes anything. He's in another city and it's still about Bron. He's gonna be getting Bron questions 5 years after Bron has retired...shyt 5 years after he's retired.

I do believe that the whole point of going back to CLE was to ride the young nikkas (ll) and he clearly saw something special in Kyrie. But honestly I can't call it with Kyrie. I originally thought he was just being pre-emptive but he asked to get traded after they won the chip. Then he talks all that glowing talk during the playoffs and then demands a trade. Either there was something personal between those two or he really just has the irrational confidence or maybe just maybe Bron told him he was going to LA after this year and the Cavs would be his soon thinking it would build trust and inspire him and instead Kyrie was like :camby: :russ:

This dude is wild. He supposed to be happy to be handed the keys to something after you done with it? This dude acting like he was gonna ride in the passenger seat with Kyrie at the helm.

Lebron is legitimately the best player in the world and has been for at least a decade. Anyone whose playing with him while he’s in his prime is riding passenger, that included Dwayne Wade who was in HIS prime and was the Alpha on the Heat previously.

Kyrie with Lebron is guaranteed a ride to the finals for at least the next two seasons, if HE wants to be the man he either has to leave or wait until Lebron is ready to indeed hand him the keys. That’s the way it works.

Not blaming Kyrie whatsoever for leaving to forge his own path, as a grown ass man and top ten player in the league that’s his right. But looking from Lebron’s point of view he’s right. He’s better than Kyrie, always HAS been better than Kyrie, so I see nothing wrong with his statement other than calling him “kid”. You don’t call another grown ass man a “kid”, that was just a petty subliminal.

Anybody who really watched the team could clearly see that LeBron wanted Kyrie and Love to take on most of the responsibility of this team so he could relax a lot more and extend his career, especially in the regular season. But he saw they weren't really up for that. LeBron was willing to take the backseat there. Kyrie's usage rate was above Bron's.
:gucci: at everything in this post.
