I legit can't even remember '96 Magic, I remember him coming back but his ass barely played that year. '92 All-Star Game Magic is the last game of his I can distinctly remember watching.

When we're talking about ranking his passing, we're talking about his prime years in the 1980s. And in the halfcourt he completed 75% of his passes by being taller than his defender and lobbing it to another player who was taller than his defender. Watch a game tape or even a highlight tape and that's what you'll see in the halfcourt over and over. Even in critical moments, he would often default to the most basic-ass, telegraphed passes.

Take the '84 Celtics series where he got the "Tragic Johnson" nickname. Explain to me...what is he doing on the opening play of the video? If he's three levels above Bron as a passer, then why is he telegraphing so obviously that he fails to get even the most basic pass off before time expires?

What happened in Game 4 was even worse. WHY is he telegraphing this basic-ass pass so far ahead of time, leading to a turnover? Why not use a better setup to give Worthy a little bit of separation and ensure Parish doesn't see the pass coming so easily?

Time running out in Game 7....what is he doing here? Where is he going with the ball? He leaves his feet with the plan to....?

It's not just that he turned the ball over at three critical junctures. It's the way that you can see the turnovers coming from a mile away. He didn't just misfire a pass or make a miscommunication with the recipient, the entire process stunk. He's not even trying to make the highest-value pass in that situation.

Also, the vast majority of his halfcourt passes were from a standing position and his fast break passes are usually running straight ahead in an open court. He didn't have the same degree of versatility to make jump passes, passes off of spins, etc. off the drive in the halfcourt offense that Bron does.

Nikka its saturday Mid May Go outside and touch some Grass im currently doing yardwork and barbecuing posting on the coli while I cool off a bit.
You don't remember 96 Magic but want to dissect his Prime in the 80's I stopped reading right there:russ:

And my point still stands.

Why? :what:

That version of Magic appeared in just 32 regular-season games, starting 9 of them. Averaged 6.9 assists and 3.2 turnovers. He was eliminated from the playoffs in 4 games, and despite your claims that he had the GOAT passing skills at the time, he managed just 3 assists with 5 turnovers in the first game and 5 assists with 4 turnovers in the elimination game.

Sorry if I don't intimately remember a short guest appearance from 27 years ago. I spent way more time watching prime Magic in the 80s through 91, both in real time and more recently.

Yet I've produced a pile of videos, both of Magic's passing issues and Bron's elite passing, yet we've seen literally zero evidence from you.

Don't post one of those highlights with all the same dozen fast-break passes we've see over and over again. Show me the best 5-10 passes in the halfcourt you've seen from Magic. You claim that even during that short '96 stint he was godly at it, so it should be easy to produce.

(this is where your juelzing commences)

You went to the trouble to post a video and couldn't even manage one of Magic passing, much less making superior passes to Bron in the halfcourt. :deadrose:

Not sure how that move would have worked on Barea when he only guarded Bron with 4 guys waiting behind him. Magic never got this attention.

Magic would have backed him down and found the open man. There are levels to this.

Get some help breh. You write lots but lack reading comprehension. I spoke of Passing and Fakes. But you skipped that part, you skipped the part where I said that Bron is an all time great and a Better more disciplined athlete cause you obsessed over me saying Magic is better at passing something Stevie Wonder could see.

seek a therapist make sure he isn't also an analyst 🚬

Of course Lebron a Great passer but Magic was like 3 levels above em. Lebron still a better more disciplined athlete. Its Crazy the amount of all around skills Bron has. Dude is legit Karl Malone size durability with Pippen' skills but way faster and more explosive than Both :mindblown: 20 fukkin years and putting the numbers he is putting in.
Love em or Hate em. He gets them computers putting

Wasnt that special...

That wasn’t it but ok
Goddamn you nikkas are some fukking haters :mjlol:

Here Bron is in year 20, battling injury, having a hot mess of a team most of the year (which yes, was his own doing) and up 15+ in a close out game at HOME against the reigning world champs/bitter rivals/one of the greatest dynasties in NBA history and gives you ungrateful fukks a victory lap celebration play by paying homage to the greatest Laker ever and you nikkas wont give a single petal off a flower :gucci: ?

I get it if youre a Warriors fan, but if not, just stop watching basketball, you dont really love this shyt.

That play is IMO the greatest play Lebron has made as a Laker (when you factor in all the context). I really hope this playoff run warms the more colder hearts of the Lakers fanbase towards Bron. I feel like this is the RUN that Lakers fans clamored for since Bron got there and he deserves praise for being the leader and pushing this team this far.

Only place where Magic has an argument for being ahead of him at all is on fast breaks. LeBron is the superior passer in the halfcourt offense. Just watch a highlight tape of Magic's passes and see how few of them take place against a set defense.

agreed and I’m a HUGE magic stan…even if dude simply said magic was a better passer then I wouldn’t have cared enough to say anything but “3 levels above” him? nah.
