It is pretty simple. LeBron has a lingering back issue that flared up in his last season with Miami. More than looking like he lost athleticism, LeBron actually looks "stiff" at times. He'll be more springy and fluid when that gets better. If his back plagues him like Larry Bird's or Tracy McGrady's did, then it is a bad long-term trend. If the problem goes away, LeBron could actually gain some knowledge from this experience to improve his below-the-rim game in the meantime, so when he goes back to normal he'll be craftier than before.

then when you watch this highlight video it just makes you appreciate what you've witnessed as a fan...

Yeah him in Cleveland the first go round on a fastbreak was one of the greatest sights in basketball. No one could (and still cant) stop him from getting to the rack at will and if he got a head full of steam he would dunk on two or three cats out there.

isn't that the reason he left the heat because he didn't want to carry the team anymore, i mean dude only had 3 free throw attempts till overtime, he doesn't have to drive, doesn't have to bang inside, doesn't have to play pf or rebound anymore.
Everything he used to do
drive to the rim = kyrie
bang inside = love
grab a bunch of rebound sguarding bigger dudes = thompson
