It was obvious that he lost some of his hops as he played in Miami but he would have spurts where he had flashes of that elite athleticism. I expect the same this year, he'll get it together but in 2 years or so (especially if he gets injured) I think he will be noticably less athletic and mobile like how Melo is now.

I think he will always be more athletic than Melo is now.

But the bottom line is he is in his 30's now and has a few grey hairs in his beard.

People peak athletically in their early to mid 20's, that's the circle of life.

But melo has bball skills and didn't depend on his athleticism so lack of athleticism won't be as noticeable got him compared to bron whose whole career is based on athleticism

Lebron has just as much "bball skills" as Melo if not more...

Melo just has better touch on his jump shot.

I agree, it'll be quite the adjustment for him. LeBron needs to polish up that post game because eventually all those fast break points wont be there for him anymore

Melo just has better touch on his hump shot.

Melo's first step, footwork, post game, jumper, turnaround = skills , and are all better than Lebron. Lebron obviously way better in open court and getting a pick and barreling to the rim
