So did Jerry West. Nobody calls him the GOAT though. As long as you're fine admitting that Lebron doesnt belong in the GOAT talk since he loses more than he wins in the finals, then we're all good here
:hubie:
Why would I admit to something being the case when your basis is subjective in the first place?

MJ, Bird, Magic, Kobe, Shaq, Olajuwon, Wilt, Kareem, Russell (you know, players that are sometimes mentioned as GOATS) etc.. do not have losing records in the finals but Lebron does. Whats subjective about pointing that out?

Pointing it out isn't subjective using that as your litmus test is.

Are you just looking to argue breh? Because thats what females do. I didnt say he was chasing anyone but MJ. I said that other people who are generally mentioned as GOATs do not have losing records in the finals. Is this true or false?

By the way, Lebron is the one that said he's chasing the "ghost of MJ" and his fanboys ate it up and regurgitated it. But that door is closed. MJ has 7-10 scoring titles. Lebron has 0 or 1. MJ won 6 out of 6 times in the finals. Lebron is 3-6 or 7. MJ has 1 or 2 defensive player of the year awards. Lebron has 0. MJ has NEVER had a playoff series, and especially a finals series like Lebron had in 2011 where he had Jason Terry and JJ Barea COMFORTABLY guarding him. Like the argument (that was never an argument to begin with after that series) has been deaded. The only one trying to keep it alive is Bron and his fanboys. Soon they'll start saying his "wokeness" is why he is the GOAT... Just watch

I think it makes perfect sense considering that everyone else in the GOAT conversation won more times than they lost when they reached the finals. Meaning at the biggest stage of their career they were successful more times than not. EXCEPT Lebron. Coincidence? I dont think so

did you not comprehend the point I was making? If lebron is considered a mt rushmore player (top 4) and the only person he's chasing is MJ, how is he not considered a goat?

^^makes no sense because the points I just made

if lebron is only chasing Jordan, that means lebron is no lower than # 2 all time and is above all the people you mentioned here

MJ, Bird, Magic, Kobe, Shaq, Olajuwon, Wilt, Kareem, Russell (you know, players that are sometimes mentioned as GOATS) etc.. do not have losing records in the finals but Lebron does. Whats subjective about pointing that out?

:jbhmm:

and that's exactly where the general consensus (players, writers, analytics etc..) has lebron, a top 3 player of all time

every major list I've seen has lebron in the top 3 all time
