Lol at Lebron, he aint shyt. He definitely aint :mjpls:.

He can only wear the number just like a stan of the true GOAT :mjdrinking:

He basically is like :manny: , he has accepted his position in life. He probably did it because cheap ass nikkas in cleveland can't afford to buy his jersey with a new number. :lolbron:

But I agree, they need to retire "23", fakkits at the NBA will probably retire it only MJ dies. :sadcam:

Maybe he didn't wanna line Dan Gilbert's pockets a little more by giving fans a new jersey to purchase :yeshrug:. I still get the feeling he doesn't trust/like Gilbert and this is mostly a money making arrangement.

He shoulda went with 32 imo. Would've been a new number for every period of LeBron's career.

"He can't get the logo [Hall of Famer Jerry West's silhouette adorns the NBA's logo], and if he can't, something has to be done. I feel like no NBA player should wear 23. I'm starting a petition, and I've got to get everyone in the NBA to sign it. Now, if I'm not going to wear No. 23, then nobody else should be able to wear it."

:snoop:Thankfully I don't gotta defend his bytchness anymore

"saying he is willing to initiate the movement, LeBron James would like to see any NBA player who wears No. 23 to choose another number as homage to Michael Jordan.

Lebron couldn't keep #6 because that number is too associated with his time in Miami. And if he had chosen #32 the Cavs would have had to retire two numbers for him when his career is over.

#23 was the only choice.

The Cavs already changed their uniforms after he left so they gonna purchase the updated Bron white, red and gold jerseys now anyway. So his pockets gonna get line up regardless

maybe maybe not
people still rock old jerseys all the time

just wait untill they bring that back a few games this year as a throwback jersey.

He just posted on his twitter

A few years ago this fakkit said 23 should be retired from the league

Last year he said he won't play if sterling was still owner

Is it oochi Wally or is it one mic?:snoop:

:wow: Don't you get it? He's usurping the right to be the 23 wearing legend from MJ. He intended to remembered as the true owner of 23 for the next generation.

He still feels they retire it.... but because he wore it not because Michael wore it :wow:

Plenty of ways around this. Kobe changed his number too. I doubt LeBron will have a problem with two numbers being retired for him if that is their only solution.
