Lol im sorry man....

I didnt witness them play

never saw a live game

but in my ignorant opinion.....Bird, Magic, Bill Russell, Wilt would all get washed in todays game

Only Oscar Robertson, Abdul Jabbar, Dr. J would do work in todays game

What about those MVPs, better stats, and the like?

Already addressed the stats. Do you feel like the MVPs definitively put him over Dream? I want you to tell me why it makes him better

They both have the same # of fmvps. How do you value beating an MVP? Imo it says a lot.

It doesn't matter.. we're talking role players, and the offense went through Kobe after that first chip... before that it was the other way around

You're lying your ass off..the whole damn offense was set up to pound the ball to Shaq which would draw double teams and give Kobe open looks.

Who was the closer on those teams?

Never gave it much thought:ohhh:

I'd have to say Magic, tho

Whether it was hitting clutch buckets or facilitating clutch buckets.

They moved like the hive mind & Magic was the King Bee(Don't wanna say Queen:scusthov:)

He was one of those rare players who could dominate a game without having to score high volume

Bird and Magic would get washed in a league where kyle korver is an all star and gordon hayward averages 19 and 5

you are a stupid human being. no offense.

Bro where you think "Kobe a ball hog" came from?

It came from keeping the ball for long stretches and costing the Lakers games while the post game analysis kept asking "Why don't they feed the big man more and make it easier on themselves?" I remember exactly how it was during the championship years and that waa always the top criticism...that's when starting showing that graphic of the Lakers win/loss record playing with Kobe and no Shaq..they were losers. But when they played with Shaq and no Kobe, they has a dominant record. You wouldn't care about Kobe if not for him playing with Shaq.

Let's put the hate aside. 6 finals appearance and winning two titles is impressive for a great player who has played 12 season of basketball.
semi impressive. until you realized he ran to another team for help before even getting to the point where father time was creeping up on him(pierce, allen, kg or Gp/Malone to the lakers), So what this say is this. If karl malone and stockton would've ran to the lakers in their prime. how many rings would they have?

what if reggie miller would've ran down to miami with Zo and tim hardaway, shoot, that could've taken out the jordan bulls at least one year.

We look at malone, stockton, even Barkely as greats but not as great AS...these other guys who were greats but also won it all. But what they did is stay with their respective teams and win anyway. sure said teams was loaded at least with another legend. but thats the way it has worked. if you think lebron is a top 10 just off the strength he ran to south beach to be with a guy who won one already(its not like he went to teach wade how to win), then do you even give his 2 rings the same love you do say for hakeem living on houston without other legends on his team and yet he still got 2 rings? he didnt run from the adversity.

so now bron leaves and goes some where that has never won in recent memory. yet he only wants to be there if his team is loaded with at minimum 2 more superstars. and some how i'm supposed to give him all of this credit. aint happening. he's a great player based on the stats. but i will never give him all the extra love i give other guys who have gone thru the fire to win it all on their original teams or atleast the team they were traded to or signed with didnt already have a superstar ring wearing legend on the team(dwade).

and again, i dare lebron to leave the east and that weak conference. you put 2 superstars together in the east and its an Auto bid to the eastern conf finals.

the wizards have john wall as their lone star player.

atl technically doesnt have any true stars. they are all very good players. and they were #1. that tells you how weak the east really is.

you put Aldridge and Lillard together in the east. i can guarantee you they will be in the ECF's.

shoot, that dysfunctional laker team with kobe, dwight, old man nash, etc from a couple of years ago would've been in the ECF's if they had the luxury of playing in the east.

So i cant give bron brownie points for getting to the finals when you may only have one serious series to face every single year.

this is why a stat like bron has made it to the finals "X" number of times is misleading. how hard was his road to the finals those times? every time it was an easy trip. not because he is so skilled or so great. but because his comp is terrible for the most part.

yall do realize the cavs would not have beaten a healthy paul george with stevenson and the pacers right? yall do realize he would not have made it to the finals if that were to have happen.

when the lakers use to spank the nets in the finals it was hell for them to get out of the west. so then when you saq kobe/shaq went to the finals x number of times. it means something special.

Say someone was covered one on one when they actually had a second defender shading them over half the time brehs
lebron was covered 1 vs 1 HALF OF THE TIME by iggy. the warriors were not hedging to brons side most of the playoffs when iggy had him. why do you think other cavs were not money from 3? because they were not open like they're use to being when most teams would collapse on bron and leave 2 guys wide open.

kobe on the other hand has always been guarded by 1 or 2 people up top with at least 1 more on his side of the court zoning him out of the paint even if he defeats the first man.

The nerve of you nikkaz :mjlol:
I know, right? Wilt was one of the best if not the best athletes to ever play the sport. Although he was horrible at ft's, he had excellent skills. His game would translate in any era. Why do you think he was so dominant? No one before him or since has put up his numbers. Some of you cats:snoop:
