This is what irks me the most, its ALWAYS an excuse with this dude. It's never just because he may just not be the player that the media hypes him up to be....and hes so smart and calculated that hes figured out how to insulate himself, at least on the surface, from being a primary reason for a situation that goes bad because his numbers be looking good.
