great in-game dunker but he shows no signs of being a competition dunker. and the fact that hes never entered basically confirms the fact that he knows this himself.

i'd hate to see lebron enter the competition and rob a more deserving competitor of a win because the judges favor lebron........matter fact, they dont even use judges anymore to crown the winner. the competition(or at least the final round) is based on fan votes now aka d**kriders. he could easily win the competition with a basic 2-hander.

and this isnt a knock on lebron. i mean, i dont expect him to come out and say "im not built for this". the media and "fans" need to just stop forcing the issue.

edit: lebron does get the gas face for that time that he said he will enter the dunk contest next year. 6 years later, he still aint enter.

What's crazy is I don't think Blake Griffin has any creativity either. He does the same tomahawk jam expect it's mostly on people, he's no better than Lebron but he entered and won. Like Kolo mentioned he should have done it during the Cav days and jumped over a car like Blake did to win and then he would have had his Slam Dunk title. Lebron could have enlisted help from streetballers on the low for a few racks if he personally couldn't think of anything.
