As a Lakers fan, it's nice to see LeBron and Bronny out on the court together as a father and son moment, but the fact remains that he's not NBA-ready. I don't even think he's scored double digits during the summer league or preseason so far.
Bron knows this, his son knows this, and his fellow teammates and opposing players know this as well, he can't forget about the fans, either. I guess for Bron and his son it's not soo much about shaping him to be the next great or emulate his father but just being on the court together just because y'know it's a father and son accomplishment.
Magic Johnson was right in that what Bron should've done is encourage Bronny to play in the G-Leauge and get better skill-wise because his son is going to wind up being one of the worst rookies in the league and may be out of the league after or whenever Bron retires. Also, it'll serve Bronny some good to build a name for himself, showing that he belongs in the NBA cause right now, a lot of people feel he's benefiting off of being Bron's son, y'know, nepotism.
