I don't see it breh

Dude just comes off as your typical big strong white guy who trains MMA and hits the gym. It upsets me that Silva lost to this dude.

- 2 time NCAA All-American
- Quarter finalist at the ADCC Submission Wrestling Championship (with just 1 year of BJJ training)
- 10-0 MMA record and current UFC MW champion (with wins over Anderson Silva, Demain Maia, Mark Munoz, etc.)

I don't see it as well breh

I'm rooting against Weidman, but dude has been a highly touted prospect for years. His natural jiu jitsu prowess got him noticed as early as 2009. He beat Ryan Bader and Phil Davis (!!!) in wrestling way back in the day.

I hope Silva kills him too.

There are a lot a guys in MMA that fit that description...but Chris? :dahell:

He's an NCAA wrestler and competed in ADCC after 1 year of formal BJJ training. Give him some credit.

:snoop:

I did'nt say dude was trash, I said I don't see the hype and I don't think a focused Silva would lose to this cat, and clearly I'm not the only one in this thread who believes so.

And to hype this cat the way people are and have been? It kinda disrespects the rest of the UFC fighters who don't have all these fancy "accolades" that you guys are touting, but are damn good martial artists in their own right. shyt feels like Chael Sonnen all over again, a dude who is decent but is at least somewhat a product of the UFC hype train.

We'll see later tonight.
