You don't think the dudes in the beginning aren't listening to hip hop especially he one saying he's an artist :stopitslime:

my dude , I LIVE IN NIGERIA ..... Lean or Codeine use has always been big up North in the Northern states amongst mostly muslims,

It still is mostly big amongst the muslims and they brought it down south....

No hip hop is influencing people to take codeine , its been in the culture for decades

and FYI thugs in Nigeria dont listen to American hip hop like that, its the middle class kids, the thugs fukk with local music more than anything...

with all due respect rather than go back and forth with your limited knowledge based on a youtube clip you would probably learn more if you actually listened to people that live there

false

we've argued about the extent of the influence and who is behind it. you have steadily maintained that rappers are helpless sheep who do the bidding of massa. it's always some cac boogie man in a suit with dusty fools like you.

these brehs want to emulate their favourite rappers and their fav rappers want to be destructive with no consequence, where people stop agreeing is on them not being culpable but rather their "handlers"

the irony is a lot of that destructive element has a huge following and base in the community. instead of denouncing that you aim squarely at the man in the shadows and allude to mind control like brehs can't CHOOSE to turn off the bullshyt.

BREAKING we're being programmed and can't help ourselves is basically your stance :bryan:

this exactly what I'm talking about. when were cacs not in control of the music business?
When you're young and already have little guidance the culture is what you become. So at that point it's a very little chance you shake all the bad habits away.

Similar to whites who grow up in a racist home....if that's all they been taught or know, no amount of being around other racial groups will change that. They'll always still have some :mjpls:

Unfortunately for us the margin of error is small due to legal system over sentencing & other forms of racism.

We tend to underestimate how fragile the mind of our youth is.

Either way you & @PhonZhi arguing semantics....we can all agree something needs to be corrected.

A agree that we argue semantics. I just don't think that the industry is going to change direction. Wouldn't it make more sense to talk about the things we can do that are within our control?

A lot of activism seems to stop act exposals and awareness, no solutions are offered to anything.

Man I dont even hear that dumb shyt anymore breh...
One minute we'll brag about being the most influential ( Which we are by the way the GOAT) but wanna downplay the effects on our youth that Hip Hop has for better or worse...
One day we have to be brutally honest with ourselves...
Sidenote: Notice how the direction our music shifted when Cacs and Cac Jews took over but Im sleep though... :mjpls:

Super facts

and if you attack the argument with this mindset they say oh your :flabbynsick: or the "well you era did the same thing too" excuse:stopitslime:

dude ..... dont be ignorant

If someone from Iceland who lives there is going to tell me how the country runs, who am I a person who has never been there or lived there to argue with them?

I would have to be incredibly stupid or arrogant

The problem with a lot of people nowadays is rather than appreciate and learn from other peoples experiences and appreciate learning something new they would rather argue

until you go to Kano or for that matter Mushin, Bariga, or Ajegunle and are able to witness with your own eyes how the people who drink codeine live, what music they listen to and what influences them hold your corner and dont argue with people that know what they are talking about because you come across as an imbecile..

Those people fukked up all by themselves , hip hop had nothing to do with it

Whatever. I didn't even make any comments on Nigeria as a whole but do you. I've been to enough places to know see how American culture has permeated the world.

Im not arguing over whether American culture has permeated the world, what I am telling you is that in Nigeria the people who are addicted to that shyt cant blame hip hop, it existed way before lean was a "thing" in hip hop, they have no one to blame but themselves not Americans

fukk no. I learn from other people's mistakes...

Everyone's mind isn't easily influenced, but the majority of those on this Earth are very impressionable
so if you and I don't drink lean, but we both listen to hip hop...

...maybe hip hop isn't the problem :ohhh:
