No breh what I'm reading is a hypothetical that's been discussed before in Bond threads or anytime Bond is bought up. Even in the Spectre thread there was discussion about it. But places like the Daily Beast and other outlets reporting it are making it seem like Sony wants it therefore it'll happen or has a stronger possibility of happening when in reality it means as much as you or I saying we want Sean Connery to play Bond. Then if it doesn't happen, people will be up in arms and wondering why Sony made a different call instead of understanding Sony has no input creatively for Bond. Their business partners yes but on the creative front, that's a whole different discussion. Also, I don't like seeing brehs be disappointed:whoknows:

I remember when i first heard someone say there should be a black james bond I straight up thought it was the dumbest shyt I had ever heard (granted, p diddy wanted the role of Bond)
Then I saw Idris, after hearing him hyped up and thought he would be perfect for the role. Although his age is questionable, he could still take over after Craig (who has 3 more movies i believe) at this point tho, id love Idris to be cast as the antagonist in a bond movie.

Yeah his age is what's killing me anytime I think about it. Craig's got 2 more flicks after Spectre and IF they can get back on a standard release schedule of every 2 years, he'll be 51 when he steps down and Idris will be 46 which I just think is too old to start playing Bond due to the length of time an actor should play him if he does a good job which I assume Idris would do. I'd rather see a younger cat get the nod, early to mid 30s that way he can age with the role as opposed to being old once he steps into the role. But maybe Idris will age well and won't look too old once he's 50. Hell, in 3 years, daniel is going to be too old to be Bond
