Goes back to the fact that these dudes are REALLY not ready for primetime at all. Despite NXT being ROH with the bag, half the roster are afraid of the potential shine and the fact that they are one trick ponies. You got dudes like Otis who my wife damn near want me to buy a damn Hasbro toy of himself getting over because they ooze potential, then you have Ciampa who just plain not it chief . Even in the ROH days, breh was a dud with a beard. No casual fan would want to watch a 60 minute snot nosed bloody faced boring dull flippy slap leg Ciampa match, but they will clap like seals for a fat pot belly goofball wrestler that sounds like ole dude from The Sandlot.

Ciampa is a spot monkey. He is limited and while he is a veteran, not ready for main roster.
I mean look at him and then look at Kross and Scarlett. He looks like he doesn’t belong .

Some guys aren’t meant to make it, he is one of them. He is at best 205.

But they did NOTHING with Heavy Machinery on NXT. And TBH Otis is a fat dude with a funny facial expression paired with a hot chick. As a face, that will never not get over as their fan base sees that as an end goal.

Ciampa is not a main eventer but he could get over with the right direction and care. Honestly he should have been the one behind Kross coming in. Put Priest with him too.

I didn't even know he declined to go to the roster....

If he did that, that's probably the thing that sunk him... imagine being at work saying you don't want a promotion, then being upset that they don't consider you for anything anymore.

I know NXT is more than just their farm league at this point, but dudes gotta get realistic- it's still being used as something you eventually move on from and (potentially) start getting in there with the main WWE guys . Someone that's not willing to take that step is probably seen as someone who "doesn't want it".

True..... they only thing scary about that is we’ve seen what they did to Zack Ryder.

Sometimes the guys in the E do spiteful shyt just to make a point or for their own satisfaction and entertainment.

Which is foul as fukk, why would you take someone else’s hard work personal and make a mockery of it just cuz you couldn’t do nothing better?

That’s why I say no matter how much the E lives to tout they have the strongest more talent roster ever and of all feds.
