His passiveness aggressiveness was always going to wane and lose its luster especially when he stopped winning. The winning just isn’t there anymore for people to overlook it.

That’s no shot at Bron, but his self awareness hasn’t always been the best.
It's tough with aging stars. They have the same mentality they had in their prime but they are no longer able to do the things they they were able to do in their primes. It's like the 40 year old bad bytch...that shyt nikkas used to ignore or even acted like it was cute when you was 22 is annoying and a turn off now.

That said, the Lakers and their fans and the Kobeites need to be self aware too. You ain't getting a king's ransom for dude. Nobody was coming there before him, you think somebody is gonna wanna come there after you turned on him or never really fully accepted him? If ya'll could do better, ya'll would be. There is no "future". Since when are the Lakers a "future" franchise anyway? Can't talk that "we above this...17 banners" shyt in one breath and then talk that "bu...bu...but the future" shyt in another. Lakers always been about winning right now. You better get what you can get now and hope this actually works out. As frustrating and up and down as this time has been, better ain't out there. It ain't coming. Once Bron leaves, ya'll are just like everybody else. Actually worse, because you still tryna live up to that Laker name and expectations from the past. In fairness, that looks like the case right now. But better is not just magically coming once Bron goes. To Bill and everybody riding with him, be careful what you wish for.
