:mjlol: Here we go with this selectively cited "rap is competition" bullshyt... Yeah, aiight...

Yes it's clout chasing and attention whoring because Layzie forced the entire situation into existence...dude from migos didn't say they were the best, he said they were the biggest (a random hyperbolic boastful throwaway quip during a long ass interview...that is obviously false, but that's besides the point and who gives a fukk)...and lazyie decided to jump all over it and make a big deal outta it because he's thirsty for some attention...and it's fukking pathetic...there's a reason why there's countless other groups bigger than the migos that couldn't give less of a fukk about that shyt, they weren't pressed

This sums it up perfectly

Could you imagine Jay-z or Nas doing what lazie bone is doing just cause a rapper said they were the best or biggest ever in an interview.

Jay and Nas get their props. Bone has been written out of hip hop history for some reason. I remember years ago, they had a top selling rappers countdown, and artists like Missy Elliot were on there, yet Bone was absent.

Jay-Z doesn't have to because he is the biggest. And he got to be the biggest by putting his name in the discussion, forging a path damn near completely out of the loop, until he became the biggest.

Nas in Ether "ain't no best". Nas in Affirmative Action remix "I take the crown of the so called King of the Town and lock it down."

Nothing has changed, as far as that goes. But the only thing that has changed is that you no longer have to prove you're the best. You can just get online (which you have to do to maintain some sort of presence) and ramble about everything but skills and you will win.

where you been?

you don't remember Nas throwing shots at biggie??

jay-z is the most campaigning ass rapper ever. we don't even have to take it all the way back. we can go recent and cite his lil rift with lil wayne.

let me see if im following this correctly. migos does an interview. they say they we da best ever layzie bone decides to jump in and say nah bone is and that's what lead to the memes and wack diss track? doesnt layzie have a tour and album coming up? migos been saying they are the best ever since forever and people pretty much laughed them out the building

no.

youre not following correctly.

I hate how rappers respond over social media and write literal paragraphs juelzing the beef , just drop music and let it speak for itself

:dahell:

layzie is the only one in this situation that actually dropped a track.

why is he the person that you call out?

Bone suffered like a muthafukker as there leader Kray played the background and didnt speak, dude gets out his shell 20 ears into his career.....Love his periscopes and interviews

this layzie group. he was always the leader & main spokesman.

krayzie became the lead guy in the studio. that's about it.

bone is more successful as a group though :yeshrug:

bone is more successful solo as well.

I always thought of layzie as the leader too, he was the one who would take charge in things like interviews

Krayzie is my favorite artist but layzie is right behind him as far as the group material
