Absolutely. With high school football, your teammates are usually guys from your town, or guys you've known all your lives, so any weird behaviors from teammates are usually just silly sh1t y'all have done all your lives or sh1t that's common to your area. Plus y'all are still teenagers living at home so that usually curbs a player from going too far.
College football, however, especially if you play / played at a school that recruits from all over the country, now that's where you see football players who are some of the nastiest, weirdest, stupidest, barbaric, violent, and downright dangerous humans on the planets. I'm talking about those meatheads who instead of getting drunk at parties to loosen up and talk to b1tches, their singular goal is to get drunk and fight anyone. Fellow teammates if need be. Or those dirty dikk nikkas who fukked with whatever on campus, all they cared about was getting laid (my good friend who played at Hampton told me dudes on the team were willfully fukking chicks that were known to be HIV positive. Nikkas ain't care though). Or dudes with major league emotional issues. Or dudes who are pathological liars. Then you have the drug addicts. And don't forget the roid monkeys who'll get enraged and wanna fight you immediately if he thought you did or said something disrespectful to him, regardless of whether it was a simple misunderstanding or he imagined whatever it is that he wants to beat your ass right now over. Then you have the simps who think they're entitled to every chick at the school and will straight up tell a teammate's girl some foul ass sh1t so he can take her from you, and usually it's just to fukk and bounce. Shoot, I haven't even hit on the dudes who take "Hard on Hoes" to a whole different level, or the guys who moonlight doing hardcore criminal sh1t under the guise of night. And rounding out the list are the legit mental midgets, the guys who without football would probably be high school dropouts and destined for revolving door incarceration.
My college locker room was a straight up haven for savages. It was there that I really saw the wide array of people that are drawn to this sport. I definitely met some awesome, normal, intelligent dudes as well, and it was fun for the most part, but there were definitely teammates who you couldn't let your guard down around.
This is why I couldn't defend Watson even when the first court documents were leaked. There's some football players who are just fukking WEIRD. And as bizarre as the allegations are, they just sound like the actions of a fukking meathead. I think back to some of the guys I played ball with and I could see a few of them being in Watson's situation due to how sloppily they moved since they would usually be motivated off of stupidity and entitlement. Football players for the most part are normal, good dudes, but the ones that are off, are OFF.

Never thought of it this way. He grew up in backwoods ass Gainesville GA & went to college in backwoods ass Clemson SC. Dude got to Houston and lost his mind
