Latinos doing the same thing in Chicago. They taking over areas on the southside like Englewood cuz Black people are leaving in droves due to the violence. Hispanics ain't afraid, they see opportunity where we see nothing but pain and poverty. That's how it goes.

Some Asians are moving into gentrifying areas like Bronzeville as well, Chinatown is only so big.

I'm coppin a piece of property in Chicago before I'm priced out.

Violent activity is allowed to fester in an area that has been targeted for redevelopment to drop property values and displace current residents.

Often times, gangs are employed specifically for this purpose.

Its another form of domestic and economic terrorism mostly targeted at poor black people.

Keeping my overhead low, and my understand high
From 1990….No black people didn’t get chased out, they just left

Denis Anaya, a Salvadoran notary, said his Latino friends could not understand why he moved his office last year to a black neighborhood on Central Avenue that they associated with “gang-banging” and drive-by shootings.

“My friends told me, ‘You’re crazy. How can you live there? They’ll kill you,’ ” recalled Anaya, 31. Even now, he said, “a lot of my friends won’t visit me here.”

I hear there’s a neighborhood in Chicago that Asians and Latinos join in on the redlining
