We'll I'm like a 25 minute drive into the Bronx/Manhattan.
There are lots of South Americans here too...Mexicans, Ecuadorians and all that...but for the most part, the spanish radio stations in NY don't play that mexican music.
So they pretty much gotta fall in line with our merengue/bachata/salsa shyt.

I was in cali a while back visiting one of my brothers (he lives out there) and his wife is Mexican/Filipina. One time I'm in the car with her cousins (both mexican) and they're playing that banda shyt...and I'm just laughing in the car...they're like "You're not feeling this?"

I know this thread is mad old but I'm looking for this song I heard two nights ago while in Miami. The only lyrics that I remembered was "Muevelo Muevelo" and they were said with a lot of emphasis and it all flowed really nicely. Was pretty upbeat and had a reggaeton feel maybe? I've been looking for it forever

Edit: Never mind it looks like it was the one in your list. I thought it was more recent or perhaps there was a remake
