from my personal experience ricans are just trashy trashy people who treat other hispanics as if they are better than us because they are almost the 51st state of the US. some are cool and i have a very close friend who is puerto rican but even he will tell u that ricans aint shyt.

and if u ever have any doubt of just how trashy they can be, take a trip to orchard beach in the bronx and spend an afternoon there counting the scars on the women and syringes and crack pipes on the parking lot floor.

Puerto Ricans don't have a lot of indigenous DNA

The Taino pride stuff is kind of laughable because they're more white and/or black than Taino

I think this is mostly true honestly, I like puerto Ricans, But I know they can be arrogant, if you are wealthier/have more spanish blood than them they do straighten out though(atleast to your face) but they are definitely different from Mexicans or even Blacks almost like they got their own little thing going on.

my fam got stories for days. when dominicans first started arriving to NYC in the early 80s they were met with a lot of hate from puerto ricans.
