it was heavily implied that cooper's son stayed on earth, in the novelization he dies decades before cooper appears in cooper station.

and yeah, interstellar is an incredible film. it is quite possibly Hans Zimmer's greatest work. The composition is incredible. People seem to let minor flaws overshadow an incredible film overall. If this movie bored you then the film wasn't made for you, you ADHD having motherfukkers go see these hardcore scifi films and then complain about being bored. Go fukking see a michael bay film or some shyt instead please.

Lol I love the fact that people don't like this has to mean they have a disorder like ADHD. I thought it was incredibly average Nolan has never impressed me with character development and it seems like he feels forced to insert emotionally baiting scenes but it really doesn't seem like he understands human relationships. That being said there were a lot of cool shots to impress people so if u liked it more power to you.

no, i'm talking about people who say its boring, not people who don't like the movie in general.

Yea I don't think any of his movies are boring but I think the fact that someone brought up following earlier and that was his first kind of makes me think of him as a film maker. It just seems like he doesn't connect he has a great ability to be a voyeur but he just lacks in being a auteur

Yea I have a friend who works in the business, when I said the daughter and father aspect just didn't work for me completely disagreed too and said he thought that was the best thing Nolan has done. I don't know just something about Nolan films don't reach me in that way I guess.

I love 2001 Space Odyssey, Contact, and Arrival but thought Interstellar was boring:manny:

I'm not knocking anyone that thought it was brilliant but the themes, characters, dialogue, and plot points just didn't feel compelling in any real way. I especially hated some of the dialogue with Anne Hathaway's character. The film tries so hard to be an emotionally engaging film, but it all felt so hollow...and forced...and...boring. I agree that it did have some good visuals though.

The movie is about a fathers and their children, the space shyt is just padding.

Alfred lied and sacrificed the planet to give his daughter a fighting chance, in turn he made Matthew McCaughneywhateverthefukk leave HIS kids because he thought he was giving them a chance.

I've heard a lot of people say he doesn't seem to care about his son. His son was just older in a world where he had to man up early. When he sees his son showing him he had a kid and then telling him his kid died :mjcry:

Movie is straight trash and yes its boring. I'm a guy that likes drama movies more than action and this movie put my to sleep. Took me three tries to get through it. Pretty pictures and sound effects does not make a movie good:martin:

Interstellar is another script with an idea that needed creative license to fully expand on. It's something that can happen, the only mindfukk is the how. Once you understand that, it should be very simple to accept.
