late registration only gets better with time. could it be the best hip hop album of the 2000s?

That album barely had Kanye on it. Too many fukking features.

The Cool >>>

shyt, even Graduation >>>

hmm, i never thought it didn't have enough ye. it never felt like it won't a kanye album, least not to me
sure it's plenty of features but it's clear to see who the star of the show is even with all of the features all doin' a great/memorable job with their contributions
the features all worked IMO. from nas to jay, really doe, to common, paul wall and glc, to brandy and then consequence and common to lupe and adam levine
i didn't like the cool at all outside of a couple of songs. food and liquor was the shyt but he lost me forever with the cool. i've never cared for that album
graduation is great but late registration is a masterpiece

musically ye has without a doubt one of the strongest discogs in rap, up to yezuus probably his producer's ear works magic (there's no i know what girls like or dr. knockboot)

the rapping ability was never above average in my opinion so the fact lr has features galore works to its advantage as far as i;m concerned

def top 10 2000's mainstream though, otherwise you HATIN'

i can see someone sayin' that but for me it'd be the other way other with late registration 1a and supreme clientele 1b
songs like "roses", "bring me down", "addiction", "crack music", "late", "we major", "gone" and "late" stand out more to me than any songs on supreme clientele
it's a combination of the lyrics and production that gives late registration the win for me

As I've gotten older Late Registration has became my favorite album from him.

Graduation probably got played the most and had the biggest impact on its genre and the pop landscape of it. MBDTF was the best summation of all of Ye's sounds and phases cooked into one awe-inspiring work. College Dropout has some of his most introspective thoughts and his most honest, but I don't know if anything captured it all as perfectly as Late Registration.
