I thought this was pretty good season overall. Having Herr Starr and Saint of Killers really made that much of difference both huge parts of what made the comic dope. I like the fact they're alluding to TC Jody and his Aunt for season 3.

^^It definitely seems like they are going to focus on them for season 3, with Jesse going to his Aunt to resurrect Tulip.

I thought the finale was a step up from recent episodes, the show continues to do good fight scenes and inspired music choices. Yet, the season overall wasn't the fun road trip I was expecting, with a lot of episodes lacking momentum and not really giving the main trio much to do. The Eugene arc in Hell took too long and they spent way too much time in the apartment.

All 3 of the main actors are really talented, but I feel they don't really utilize them enough. It's like they are only using 40 or 50% of their acting power if you will.

The show works better as binge viewing.

On the Talking Preacher show they touched on the idea that Cassidy being around Denis was bad for him. That he would have been tempted to giving in to his vampire instincts and dark side, which is one of the reasons he killed him.
