I love this movie. Very well done and Arnold wasn’t afraid to poke fun at himself, or the action genre. Benedict was a classic villain.

Finally got round to watching this, one of the most underrated movies out there, if it got released around this time it might've done better but oh well, it's still entertaining nevertheless :wow:

Always wondered where this GIF originated from :lolbron:

Loved this film as a kid. Only thing I didn't like was the kid who played Danny was very very annoying. Bad casting decision in hindsight :ehh:
Ya know...if they had cast any young actor with charisma this might be considered a classic

That character needed Michael J. Fox/Marty McFly in Back to the Future level of likability. Perhaps should have made him older/found a better actor.

Then again Macaulay Culkin in the role :jbhmm:

Character was supposed to be older. Got rewritten (in one of the many rewrites) to be a kid and that changed the initial tone of the movie.

I don’t mind the kid but I get why other people do

No Whammies!!
For me, the movie started to go downhill when they entered the real world. Still great tho

My favorite scene in the whole movie is when he shoots the cab in the real world, then looks at his gun like its broken when the cab doesn't explode

I almost never agree when people say something was "Ahead of its time", but this movie REALLY was ahead of its time. Just like "Wes Craven's New Nightmare".
