i was trying to be cautious but im buying into the KD hype. where else can he salvage his rep as much as he could here? do titles with the nets or clippers really elevate him?

saw someone compare it to Messier for the Rangers. His one title in NY means so much more than all the ones he had before as Gretzky's #2. he's a nyc legend and hockey fandom doesnt compare to basketball. imagine the knicks ever win? the city will build statues and rename parks after KD.



The knicks also now have a similarly long title drought that the Rangers had in 94. it really feels like the right move for him if legacy is his biggest concern.
