My nikka hold up what?!!:gladbron::whoo::dahell:??? Bruh is putting up a all time great stat and already chasing history in blocks?!:damn:
To be fair Oak wasn’t much of a shot blocker, Robinson is having a historically good shot blocking season.

Probably the best shot blocker since young Serge Ibaka.

HOUSTON — Mitchell Robinson doesn’t know who legendary former Rockets center Hakeem Olajuwon is.

That’s OK. Hakeem “The Dream” now knows Robinson, who has set the Knicks rookie record for blocked shots in a season. Robinson also has at least two blocks in 27 straight games, second-longest streak for a rookie after Manute Bol.

Olajuwon, who works for the Rockets as an adviser/mentor, sat courtside for Friday’s Rockets’ blowout over the Knicks and came away swooning.

“I love his game,” Olajuwon told The Post. “He has a presence in the middle. He can close down the middle with his energy, skill level, how he moves. Not too many players have that impact as a shotblocker. On the court you know he is there. Fantastic player.”

When the praise was relayed to Robinson, the just-turned 21-year-old from Chalmette (La.) High, which is four hours from Houston, admitted he never heard of Olajuwon.

Robinson was 4 years old when Olajuwon retired in 2002. The young teammates surrounding Robinson in the locker room razzed him for not being up on his NBA history. Olajuwon used to run a big-man camp for all NBA players to work on their post game, but no longer can do so. He can mentor only Rockets players.

Rui Hachimura is a guy projected outside of the top 10 that I really want the Knicks to try and trade for ( depending on how things break with our draft slot and other potential trades that is:scheme:)

Breh is solid in a lot of areas. He's a great athlete in the open floor, needs to tighten up his handle, but he shows he's comfortable going to and pulling up from his left. Not the quickest first step, but he's a smooth athlete with a good looking jumper, and he's strong as hell with a good feel around the basket. I don't think he's gonna be a guy who can defend 1-4 like some other prospects ( He'll have issues staying on guards, and he can do a better and more consistent job of sliding his feet ) but I still think he'll end up a +defender. He's a big guy who I think he can come in and bring back that brand of bully ball we miss with some experience under his belt. I'd honestly draft him before I draft someone like Cam Reddish, so I don't know why he's projected as a mid rounder in so many mocks. Dude has top 10 talent imo.
