:dame: Brehs, I love Kawhi, but I don’t know if I’d want to trade GOATzingis and/or Ntilikina for him.

:dame:Y’all feeling me on that or is it just me?

Nah, I'm with you on that. Ideally, you'd trade for a player like Kawhi to pair with KP and/or Frank. Trading a bunch of assets to get a Kawhi and leaving the cupboard empty when he gets here makes no kind of sense imo, Kawhi + a bunch G-Leaguers is no more of a contender than the team we have now.

Aside from that, we just don't have enough assets to pull off a deal to bring in a Kawhi @ the moment. Lakers, Celtics, 76ers, hell even the Clippers can all outbid us with a more enticing offer than we can put together.

I like KP a lot, and I hope nothing but the best for him.

But I cant see his career being anything other than injury after injury.
His trade value is never going to be any higher :ld:

I don't want to trade any of our young guys. We're finally a franchise with promising young players & a front office seemingly dedicated to development. I'd rather watch these guys grows :dame:

Although his durability concerns me, I wouldn't trade KP for Kawhi. I'd rather pair them. But the point is dead because we won't get him for anything less than KP. But if we were able to finesse SA with a package centered around Frank? As they say in France "Bon Voyage!" :sas2:

If the spurs are willing to do a 1 for 1 with kawhi and KP, I would do it in a heartbeat. I trust Kawhi coming back 100% from whatever the fukk he has going on than KP ever being a 100%. But if we’re throwing in our 2018 pick and other players, spurs can kick rocks

I would prefer if the spurs are willing to take frank, kanter, 2018 pick for kawhi, I would do that in a heartbeat as well. You can always find talent around the league, just gotta be smart and see who fits the current system.

PG- Burke
SG- Timmy
SF- kawhi
PF- KP or filler
C- Oquinn or filler or KP

That’s a pretty good lineup and you set yourself up perfectly to target a free agent in 2019 or 2020.

But we all know thats not gonna happen, other than KP, damn near every team got better assests and picks to send the spurs than we do

He just seems way too tall and lengthy to have any sort of longevity, unless he totally picks up Dirk's game and stops trying to cross dudes up and shyt.

And he's a Euro. Can't say we haven't seen the softness. Dude tears it up in the first 20 games then disappears because he's tired. :ld:
