No, fukk that. If the parsons albatross is in the deal, we are getting fleeced if we trade Timmy.

Convince them (and Kanter) that he's a double double machine worthy of the keys to Elvis' kingdom and a few seconds.

*Yes, my children knicks stannery is showing :mjcry:

Porter's got a few character flags to go with the injury worries. Rumors his teammates didn't like him and that he interviewed poorly at the combine. The thing is, with all those flags, he must be HELLA talented to have teams still considering him in the top ten let alone top 5 rumors. That or his agent is a beast. I would rather not risk it though, because there's a lot of upside in this draft besides Porter. If we could get LAC's back to back firsts for the 9th pick with Porter available, I do that.

I wasn't aware of the rumors with his teammates. If really does have character issues and his back really is that bad, then yeah the Knicks should pass.

Bamba and KP in the frontcourt would be insane. Bamba ceiling is higher than 99% of the league and maybe even higher than KP's too. If Bamba pans out you're talking about a dominant, one of a kind front-court. Ideally you do it for 9+Timmy or Kanter for Parsons and 4; I still like Timmy but that would be a fantastic trade since the Knicks will still maintain cap space for next year. Question is, is it worth giving up Frank AND taking on Parson's contract?

not sure if it will work
not a fan of the 2 7 footers model
theres usually spacing issues
not a fan of cousins and davis front court either

would prefer to have an elite pg sf and big. more balance

but mayb if mamba pans out we consider trading KP:yeshrug:

Frank is going in that Memphis trade. I dont see anyway he doesn't, which I really dont want to see happen
It won’t happen, but if Frank is involved we gotta make sure to keep our 9th draft pick. We gotta offer one or other. Not both.

So frank/tim/random for 4th/parsons

Or

9th/tim/random for 4th/parsons

Edit- now you gotta ask yourself who do you value more? Frank or the 9th pick where you have options to grab a PG or a wing player. I don’t wanna get negged to bolivia, so i’ll leave this here

Two 7 footers can work, but it depends on Bamba's ability to switch. I had my doubts earlier in the year but he's quick, mobile, and coordinated, and that's something you don't see in a guy that big. He'll do very well on switches. He's extremely long too pause, so he can recover pretty well after getting beaten on the defensive end. He didn't shoot it well from three in college but he has good form and should get a lot better. It's a grand slam swing for the fence type of pick, but if it does work out with KP and Bamba in the frontcourt, no team in the league would be able to counter those two.
