One Of The Last Real Ones To Do It
Frank is a a big enough combo guard to play SG and without having to be the PG his skill set as a off guard is pretty good. Especially if he can just master the open 3 and expand his game from there. Plus he could hide Kyrie’s iffy defense.
Best case scenario:
Kyrie/DSJ
Frank/Dotson /Trier
KD / Knox
Zion/ LT
DJ / Mitch
If we miss out on Zion but get the stars:
Kyrie/DSJ
Frank/Dotson /Trier
KD / Cam or RJ or Culver
Knox/ LT
DJ / Mitch
Both scenarios means we can stagger KD and Kyries minutes with each other with the youth and not have to play them heavy minutes either cause there are decent subs behind them. For a aging star and a guy with injury concerns it’s not a bad deal. Potentially as the youth grows their jobs become easier
