There seems to be so much drama and soap opera shyt around Kyrie and Anthony Davis that if they come to NY, we might legit also see a new Shonda Rhimes show called "Life: Off-court Fouls" following these nikkas while they get into cat fights at brunch.

They make KD look like he's able to handle NY media spotlight better than them.

I'm looking at what we've been trying to develop here and I don't know if I want to sacrifice that for a drama cloud surrounding these two. KD, I'm warming up to alot.
I'd honestly rather go all out to pair Kemba & KD rather than Kyrie & KD. Alas, I don't think KD comes without Kyrie committing.

No. He can sign for the MLE plus whatever left over space we have depending on what pick we get. So something like 4-7 million.

Say we get two of the 6 big free agents like KD and Kyrie. And we secure the top pick. Would you trade all of our young assets like Zion, Frank, Smith Jr, mitch and Frank for AD or we sticking with what we got and telling AD to kick rocks?

Obviously, if KD and Kyrie say go get AD, you have to, but if they cool without him, I would rather keep my young players than trade for AD

I wouldn't do it. I'm not trading all depth away and relying solely on a big 3, consisting of 2 injury prone players. Zion probably doesn't end up the player AD is, but he's still a guy who could end up a top 10 player and could average close to 20 and 10 in a year or two. If the Knicks trade for AD and try to fit in 2 other max guys, I can talk myself into liking the trade easy, but honestly, I'd prefer if the Knicks actually keep some home grown guys, I don't wanna win with just mercenaries out there.

If the Knicks get the second or third pick, then it's a slightly different story, but you still can't trade the whole farm; Keep Mitch, keep some of the less costly guys, and see if KD or Kyrie will take a little less. If they're coming here, it's a legacy move for both of them, they might be fine missing out on a couple million or so.
