agree with @Montez, skipping the exit interview after his second season is a necessary part of his story here because many claim that was where the relationship with the front office officially soured...which led to this.

That's fair for sure, he still thinks he's pre-injury Wes at times and does too much. I want DSJ/Dot/Wes/Knox/Mitch to happen just one time before we move him. Wes is my template for Dot to follow.

On dealing him; a day after the trade and there was already rumor that a team had called about Wes, so I think he's a candidate to get us back something. We've got three days to find some assets. I think Wes, Mudiay, Vonleh finding new homes by then would be a big win for the new administration. I just heard the whole KD connection with DJ and I'm guessing they'll keep him around but I'd be looking to move him too. I'll be really disappointed if we're not coming out of the deadline without at least a couple more second rounders.

Don't get it twisted. Wes Matthews is fukking ass. All sorts of ass. He might be a different type of ass for you guys cause he's on an expiring and on a tanking team, but for a $80+mil/4yr, he was undoubtedly one of the worst players in the league at that price. Dude is a total black hole on offense. Doesn't playmake, can't really run PnR or two man game with him, once he gets the ball it's Caron Butler levels of ball stoppage sometimes. Dude is a average 3 and D player at BEST and has a mental illness where he thinks he's Jason Terry.

He's lazy and he has overpaid veteran entitlement. He'll hustle for you guys tho cause he's in the Garden and contract year.

Does he actually think the fans are chanting his name because they want him to stay?

They are mocking him as they have done every “last guy on the bench” since I’ve been watching the Knicks.
