Alright, I'm done venting. The fact that KP is really willing to take the QO and is gonna do so with the Mavericks means it's not a terrible trade in a vacuum. Plus we gotta keep in mind that KP is injury prone and guys his height rarely stay healthy. But Pills gotta get something done with the cap room to turn this into a W for us.

Might as well cut Matthews and Deandre though, I don't wanna see those guys hit the court at all tbh.

He was getting shopped well before today. No one was handing over a premium package for a 7 footer coming off a major leg injury who was intent on signing the qualifying offer.

Yeah this is the route to take if we miss out on free agency. This went from what could've been a quick rebuild to something pretty grueling.

only way this deal makes any sense if KD has given the Knicks a strong indication he coming to NY. And thats a big if and alot of things would have to break right (top 3 draft pick, another free agent comes with him and the roster shows some development)
