never in free agency history have players been so blunt about not wanting go come to a team lol
usually they keep it coy

We don't got the most money and we don't got KP. I am not surprised.

In a perfect world, I'd shift to selling our cap space like the Cavs are doing. Between teams that spend this offseason to land stars but start to see luxury tax issues and teams that are cap locked like the Blazers and Wizards we could do worse than extracting a good but overpaid player at the price of draft capital. Then we lay low and wait for the next Jimmy Butler situation or try to combine the draft assets for a trade up to grab somebody we think will be another KP level game changer (like trading up for a Luke Doncic).

Man I would love if the Knicks absorbed Otto Porter and just looked at him and Hardaway as placeholders for Giannis in 2021. We could probably get a future 1st for him too.....

kemba has been underpaid for years, and charlotte is probably the only team that would max him out and they can also offer him more money than any other team.
he'd be stupid to leave that behind.
he's been pretty honest about staying there for the last few years now

It just got me thinking about how ridiculous it is to make significant moves with the hope that a free agent signs here instead of just using the team as leverage.

We are at a place of rebuild, not just for players, but for organizational reputation.

I know I'm going to get blasted for this but we need to try to sign Vonleh to a non-Hardaway team friendly deal.

We need to continue to make this team better with a realistic trajectory.

When a Durant or Kemba is ready to sit down with Perry... That's when we euthanize our roster.

The Bulls, Hawks and Knicks look like fukking fools expecting a free agent is realistically looking at their City.

These nikkas play us like we are 30 year old p*ssy that's easy to take advantage of because of the pressure of her girlfriends who are getting married and pregnant.

nikkas selling the "I love you, girl" aka "NY is the mecca, it's amazing to play there" and while we think there is a commitment... It's a smash and dash.

shyt is tiring. Am I saying just be on some Oprah shyt and giving people fat contracts? No.

But, worry about what seems to work or seems to be an asset and worry about making space when we have a star in a meeting.

It’s a bit different in our case because of KP who is already a star in the league.

It is no different if no one sees him play before summer.

If I'm a star, I'm not inking a deal in NY until I personally see KP wrestle a Latvian bear.

We have not one new update on KP. Y'all don't want to hear it but I'm very concerned and I think the reason why we are trying to develop Mudiay and Vonleh is to have some solid pieces to try to convince a star he'll have a little support if KP is never the same.

Yea, if Phil Jackson wasn't coach, I'm convinced LeCoach would've went to NY.
I'm not.
Bron loves being a spectacle and attention
normally he covers his mouth with his jersey but he just started babbling with intention to troll
He was never coming here :yeshrug:
Under any circumstance. :yeshrug:

He's too boisterous for our team. He demands control over everything even the coaches decision.

It seems like every team in the bottom always has their best player or 2nd best “injured” or “resting”.

Why the fukk can’t Tim Hardaway or kanter get these days off?
