I hate to critize a good dude but @knickscity is correct. It's the way he thinks. His mentality. He is foot 11 in his mind. Idk it's because of where he grew up but he is soft. Is he lacking confidence ?

Look at players the grew up in adversity or the hood there is a different playing style. Little ass Isiah Thomas and Allen Iverson attack like they are physically bigger than the defenders. Light skin ass Tony Parker even does that at 30 plus.

When you guys were clamoring about his arm length and height I knew what was up.
That doesn't mean shyt.

That 6 foot 9 wing span ain't it if you play with 5 foot 5 muggsy bogues height mentally.

He can change
If he can see a psychiatrist or go to the hood for 60 days I feel like he can change the way we see him.
It's all facts. I died laughing reading this ignorant but funny comment, someone said earlier in the thread he plays like he was born with a vagina. That's exactly that. He's shy on the court. He has no type of killer mentality, just like Nicolas Batum except he isn't as good.

The thing is, I don't know whether or not you can learn that shyt :francis: It's all good to tell him to take more shot and be more agressive but it doesn't come from within and you can feel it every time he tries a half-ass pull up jumper that he didn't wanna take but is forced to because there is no solution.

Like he said, he needs to stop training in France and start competing with hungry dudes in the league.

I've never seen him do ones against other stars on the reg like this

where there's competition, trash talk and nobody wants to lose.

He'd get smoked at first but it would build more confidence if he sees he can score on the toughest players in the league.

He's playing like Baki before he got himself some p*ssy. *Anime reference*
Chill with them Baki the Grappler references. Dudes be on sexual shyt one minute and the next they fukking you up:dame:

The Spurs were the first thing I thought of when I read that post too. But guys like Duncan knew when to "turn up". Yes they played within the offense, but they were never invisible. At least during their prime years.
This is where the coaching staff gotta be with him, they should hiring someone specifically for Frank to get him there. There’s so many people he could benefit from. But I don’t se the FO doing that cause they have no idea what role they want him in.

Chauncey Billups is ideally who I'd want him to play like.

You can’t call a nikka soft who picks people up full court and stays in their chest all game. The kid shows plenty of offensive ability. Sure he doesn’t think to attack non stop, but that shyt won’t look nearly as bad when we have capable offensive players around him. We shouldn’t have to depend on him to score. We need him to be able to hit open shots and we’ve seen he can, i.e he’s not Andre Roberson or Tony Allen out there who give you absolutely nothing offensively. We have a top defensive pg, why are we upset that he’s going to be the 5th option offensively?

We aren't depending on him to score.

We really aren't asking too much of him at all, knock down open looks, attack in transition with your length, be able to capitalize on mismatches, run the P&R effectively punish teams that go under picks with threes, midrange dribble pullups, drive and hit the roller consistently without telegraphing passes. I don't think nobody is asking him to go full isolation mode we're not. I'm asking him to not tank our offense, we're -10.3 points when he's on the court offensively. He can't finish at or around the rim and has shot about 30% from 3 since his rookie year, many of his looks are good C&S looks. Tony Allen did give his teams more offensively than Ntlikina has shown because he was athletic and a good slasher/cutter.

As for Frank's defense, yeah it's elite but his foul rate is too high (averaging 4 fouls per 36 minutes since his rookie season) that limits his impact and his ability to be on the court at times.

Don't he be with Chris Brickley? Isn't he tight with Donovan Mitchell? :francis:

Hold on fellas, I didn't say Frank was soft, I said he doesn't have that dog in him on offense. Defensively, he's more than solid. On offense he's too passive, scared to go into individual mode. His issues on offense is mental, he has said that himself. Everyone sees it. A few attacks to the basket is a start, but that should be normal activity. he still has far too many moments where he'll bring the ball up and instantly drop it off that the three point line and duck to the corner.

A 6-6 pg should be an advantage on offense. he gives it all away by being passive.

Yea, he trained with CB but that dude is about skills isn’t he? Mitchell is the same imo. He needs a vet that played his position I think. He needs a mentor, like breh said Billups would be good. There’s other but I’m blanking, Tony Parker is another but dude still in the league.

Yea, Duke is Zion’s team. He’s going number 1.

Reddish 7-13 from 3. :takedat:

Its gonna be Zion and RJ battling for 1st pick

Cam did his thing too

I can see them all going top 3 and fans spending the rest of their careers comparing them. Each is highly skilled. Narrative wise this is a great end to this era of NCAA basketball.
