Some of you are taking these first few games too serious. 1st year head coach that has these young boys playing to the wire every single game.

We do not have the players we need to play defense. Kanter is not a defensive presence in the paint and Mitchell is too raw. Knox is still finding his place and it will take a while. Stop getting frustrated brehs. We could’ve won this game if we hit our FTs something as easy as that.

Timmy needs development as one of you guys pointed out earlier. He went from coach bud to hornacek he may have regressed a bit. Fiz May be trying to turn him into a more complete player.

Don’t know what was the reason frank was pulled all 4th quarter. Maybe fiz knows something we didn’t. Burke is getting too many damn minutes. We need to choose 2 of 3 to give significant minutes to. Can’t have Burke and Hardaway, Hardaway and trier, trier and Burke I’m at once because it will def kill ball movement.

On that last play if y’all were Fizdale do you draw up a play for Knox. It was on only his second career game but it establishes culture and an expectation going forward in his career.

Which makes you wonder what Fiz saw that made him bench him. Maybe he was sending him a message, making this a teachable moment for a young player...but more likely Fiz really wanted to steal this game and just did not think Frank was going to get buckets down the stretch and rolled the dice that at least one of the chuckers would get hot.

Frank had 4 fouls and wasn’t providing much offensively (another 5 point night). He was -22 hence why he was benched.

Also, he hasn’t gotten to the line once through 3 games.
