I really wish Timmy attacked the boards harder because he is a one man fast break and relentless finisher when he pushes the ball.

He should be averaging more than 2.8 rebounds per game :scust:

As for Lance Thomas, bro looks in tip top physical shape and his floater and corner three looks much improved. I think he can have a career year.

Also, I still maintain that Burke and Ntlikina should be our starting backcourt with Timmy moved to a microwave 6th man role. I think Allonzo Trier is a bonafide NBA level scorer and will be promoted from his two way contract, he reminds me of Jordan Crawford.

Knox seems to be struggling with NBA range threes and his motor hasn't been the best, y'all say he playing with ball hogs but also he himself got a tendency historically to disappear/not be aggressive.

I think Hezonja has a lot of potential, coach Fiz just need him to cut out all the low I.Q. plays, make the right play not the highlight. Vonleh got a nice handle for a big, I liked him at Indiana, I'll be rooting for him to become a legit rotation piece. Hicks looks in better shape but he's still a third string big at best. Kornet still shows flashes as a stretch 5 and shot blocker.

Co-sign all of this. THJ is really good in transition but the lack of boards in a system where the rebounder gets to take the lead could be a big limitation.

Lance, I'd add he's also looked improved as a ball handler...not particularly good but he's more aware of his surroundings at least early on.

I don't have a problem with Timmy as sixth man but I also think Fiz is gonna consider three point shooting and keep THJ out there. For my money, I'd be fine with Burke/Frank starting and Timmy getting the green light as the man on that second unit though.

Yeah, the motor questions are scary for sure. I'm glad he's taking the threes, a lot of rookies take a bit to adjust on the range so I'm pretty confident on that one. On mentality...I'm giving him time but it's something we ought to be keeping an eye on for sure.

Hezonja is a lot of upside but also a lot of head scratching moves. For our situation, he's in a good place to try all his stuff and figure things out though. Vonleh is def promising as that third option after Mitch, I just hope he doesn't get ahead of Mitch on the depth chart. Kornet flashes once in a while but I don't think it can hold because of how slow he is...But he absolutely flashes, so it's not out of the question that he becomes a useful rotation guy. We can afford to wait and see.
