KP is more of a skilled PF. He has shades of Dirk, KG, Gasol, Shrempf, Sampson.

While, Mitchell Robinson is more of a modern C with rim protection, ability to switch high P&R’s with great feet, rim rolling with shades of DeAndre Jordan, Tyson Chandler, Clint Capela, John Henson.
I concur. He just needs to work on minimizing fouls.

This is why position doesn’t matter. Offensively, you’d want KP to play more outside while Mitch rim runs. So traditionally, that would make KP the 4 and Mitch the 5. But on defense, Mitch’s mobility would make him a better option on stretch 4s or attemtp to stay in front guards on switches which would make him the 4 and KP the 5.

The season hasn't start yet and yo bytch ass didn't show up when he was tearing up the summer league. In additon to his last two preseason games. And now you want to comment on one bad game?

fukk outta here
full

I was on the Knox hype train from the beginning

I’m just saying I this is a reality check for Knicks fans. He’s still an 18 Rookie with a lot to learning to do.

A few other rookies have looked much better in preseason

Summer league is irrelevant now.

Also Trier has stole some of Knox spotlight

Just calling it how I see it :manny:

Even though you negged me had to dap you for the Akira gif :salute:

It's called rust. Knox will show out later on through the season. He has the confidence, determination and aggression be a proficient athlete. Fiz sees potential in him so he's giving him a lot of minutes. What makes him good is that he's not selfish when he's cold. He'll look for open players or drive to the rim. He essentially will make the team better in the long run. How I look at him, is how y'all look at Frank. I'm gonna be a die hard Knox fan.

If Jimmy beat the Wolves with a bunch 3rd stringers, just to prove a point, we might need to reconsider trading for him...

Knicks definitely have pieces to give up. But I wouldn’t wanna mess with their chemistry and young players development

And most importantly their future top draft pick chances

It doesn’t prove much other than Jimmy walked into that practice with a huge chip on his shoulder and dominated and made KAT and Wiggins look like lil nikkas and shytted on Thibs and Layden.

I’d be willing to try a deal centered around Timmy and Courtney Lee. But Frank, Knox, Mitch are not up for trade and neither is our pick this year.

The Miami trade fell apart because Minnesota wanted Richardson, Bam, and a 1st round pick.

man look :hubie:

if they do play together I think they'll be cross matched from offense to defense.
mitchell has a better chance at defending stretch 4s....and transitioning in and out of the paint solely cause of his athleticism
the interchangeable aspects of the players we have will be a strength
kp is in the mold of a highly skilled 4 on offense....but he's still 7'3.....outside of a few centers in the league...if he bulks up even a little bit he shouldnt be at a disadvantage guarding whoever is likely to be closer to the rim from the other team (usually the center)

It doesn’t really matter they’ll be interchangeable at those positions, they’re bigs position is irrelevant and they will have different roles

Mitch has a developing jumper we haven’t seen it in games yet but I’m looking forward to it. At the line he’s looked real bad tho

I’ve got the most for Vonleh right now, but that’s cause he doesn’t have much pressure compared to the others. He’s a wild card.

Exactly what i was thinking breh. I think Mitch playing the 4 on defense also protects KP from potential injuries, hes better off defending on the perimeter as little as possible
