Frank up an inch and a half with a 7 foot wingspan...Knox spending the year learning what it's like guarding star wings...no trading the draft pick...those three comments are the biggest to me.

The Knicks could someday rock a line-up with a 6'7 PG, 6'10 SF, 7'3 PF and 7'1 C all with 7 foot wingspans. If they were to draft, say Cam Reddish; that'd be a 6'8 SG with a 7 foot wingspan in addition...and they all can guard their positions and they all have sky high upside on the offensive end. There won't be another team like that.

Cam Reddish is my 1a for the Draft then RJ Barret and Romeo Langford. Knicks need to draft somebody who could be a potential second scorer next to KP. Just in case Free Agency goes to shyt.

If they could add him, keep what is hopefully the makings of a core this year together and maybe steal a good RFA or two (Malcolm Brogdon, Rondae Hollis Jefferson, Kelly Oubre, Terry Rozier, Justise Winslow, and Julius Randle should be all be gettable) I wouldn't be mad. Their not an elite players, but they would all be young and have potential to grow. The knicks timeline isn't competing for a chip right now.

That's his name. Yea KP is overall better than him. Dirk was giving dude false praise.

Lauri is horrible on Defense.

Hoping Knicks don’t mess around and trade for Jimmy Butler:beli:

Based on what Steve Mills said yesterday, I highly doubt it. Plus if you've looked at his time in Chicago and Minnesota, he doesn't look like the type of leader you want around youngsters. Add to that the fact that he's already got high miles on him, I'm good on that. Keep building the team the right way. I've always said that it was a foolish notion to say that you can't rebuild in NY. If the fans see that you got an actual plan of direction, and you sticking to it (and it makes sense), you can do a rebuild. Not like Phil who said one day that we rebuilding and then the next day he's trading for Derrick Rose and signing Joakim Noah.... still :mindblown: with that.

Strongly disagree. If the talent and potential is there this year, let it shine and play your best. I still look at the warriors mold and how none of them were top 5 picks where talent blossomed. Sometimes it takes the right coach and the right amount of time to bring it out of them. I truly believe that Phil and Hornacek were toxic to the team. Besides that, i thought we were already locked in at 5 for 2019. Players doing their best and not tanking means other teams are looking to acquire those players.

Thank you. I've never been a fan of playing worse than you can on purpose. We got young kids and a new coach, may they go and ball out and establish early something we can build on. I've been saying this for years (like other Knicks fans), let's for once build it up slowly, organically, We've been trash for most of the past two decades, as long as we have some direction and play with heart I thnk most long time fans will be ok with that.

I still say we need a #1 scoring option, KP hasn’t shown he can do it for a full season yet so I’m wary.
I think we lowkey will have 1 in the making. I wish we could get Cam Reddish or Zion Williamson but if we pull for a top 5 and develop our young core, I'm fine with that because of other expiring contracts possibly excited about joining our team.

Lauri just passable on defense but he gave KP that work on a few occassions:ufdup:

At the time Rose seemed like a good move and it was a big deal. It was like a last effort to build a contender

I can’t be mad at it. I’m a big rose fan and he actually played well more or less

It’s just the team had no chemistry, direction or a good coach

Noah was just a throw in to help Rose adjust to the trade I assume

And that was the real bad move

But yea I think knicks fans weren’t accepting a rebuild until everything hit absolute rock bottom which is Kristaps hurt and Melo gone

Now knicks got a clean slate for the first time in a long time. I’m excited. And there’s literally no expectations for this upcoming season :blessed:

I agree on most of this but as far as Jimmy’s character goes, i think the guy just wants to be around guys who work hard. His biggest issue is that Kat and Wiggins aren’t putting into the season like he is. If your rookies are impressionable enough, which i feel we have, he’d actually work well with those guys. Both Knox and Frank specifically look like being the best they can be is really important to them. But yea, unless its just Noah, or Noah and Dotson or something, i don’t want to do this trade at all.

Hopefully we can be a third team in a Jimmy Butler trade and unload Courtney Lee in the process.

You had to draft another Big to put next to him to hide him on defense.....

Our starting center was a 30 yr old Robin Lopez.....you dont see the need to upgrade from that:usure:

Lauri still sonned KP in their matchups and he's not made of paper like KP is
