Has this been shared yet? https://theknickswall.com/2018-nba-draft-mikal-bridges-nba-ready-wing-knicks-need-today/

I'm very nervous now, brehs.

I'm so set on Mikal that I'm going to be vomiting butterflies the entire time between picks 6-9.

I really do not want Young. I am very worried about someone just snatching up Mikal right before we pick..And it's not because he will definitely be great; it's because he just seems to fit what we are trying to create here so well.

I'll be cool w/ Mikal being a dissappointment because, atleast, he would be a pick that everyone will say, "Okay, I definitely understand why they chose him."

I’m pretty optimistic that we could get MPJ. Both the magic and cavs desperately need a PG, so if both sexton and trae are picked we could have a shot. Bulls are the only sleeper that could go with carter, mikal or MPJ.

If MPJ and Mikal are available, you almost have to gamble on MPJ.

Nah. Gimmie Mikal...

If we are on the clock and Sexton and Mikal are available...

We should be thanking Trey Burke for his improvement b/c Frank & Trey may be enough of a development task to make the FO hesitate a little less on taking Mikal or any other high quality SF prospect.

Realistically, I could see -

[Frank, Timmy, Troy Williams, Mikal, Kanter] or [Trey, Frank, Timmy, Mikal, Kanter] as our starting 5 at the beginning of the season. It would be a positive if Kanter opts out but I expect him to opt in. Replace Kanter w/ O'Quinn if the opt out happens, though.

And a full roster of - Guards[Frank, Timmy, Trey Burke, Dotson, Mudiay, Baker]; Forwards[Mikal, Troy Williams, Lance Thomas]; Centers[KP, Kanter]

:picard:Damn, I can't believe I'm saying this but we actually need some big men. Kornet isn't going to make it past the Summer w/ a Fizdale quality standard and ideally, we kind of need to sign some young prospects or strike gold in the second round on some Hernangomez shyt.

I want to see Courtney Lee moved to a contender for a pair of seconds, although I could see Fizdale hitting it off w/ Lee and wanting him around as a veteran presence.

Which is why getting rid of Willy made no sense, especially on his friendly contract.

Although I am still okay w/ getting rid of Willy - and I loved him! - I admit we should have been a little more patient.

Question for y'all about Bird Rights regarding O'Quinn.

If Kanter opts in & the Knicks are over the cap w/ other signings, considering O'Quinn's prev salary of $4.08m, is there any way the benefits of Bird Rights can help us retain O'Quinn w/ a contract he'd possibly be okay w/?
