Read a bleacher report article that said the rumors about Kyrie and Butler for 2019 are bs and being floated by agents

Said the Knicks are gonna be patient in free agency in 2019 because they have to with contracts like Noah and THJ

The lack of patience by this franchise is what continually kills us. Signing fringe players to big contracts to attempt to make the playoffs every year eliminates us from ever making a huge splash in free agency

I don’t like this narrative. Jimmy and Kyrie aren’t fringe players cut it out. Both are top what... 30 players at the least? Kyrie possibly top 10? Who are you saving the money for if not for guys like that? Not saying we HAVE TO do it, if it doesn’t make sense, or the team decides it doesn’t want to trade too much to get rid of Tim and Noah than fine, I’ll live with that... but signing them is what youre supposed to do when you have a good young core that can compete now.

I was talking about Kyrie and Butler as fringe players the article said we won’t be able to sign them because we signed fringe players like THJ and Noah to huge contracts

I understand the need to trade Timmy, but why are we not just cutting Noah in these 2 star scenarios?

A lot of dead money on the books if they decide to stretch him going forward. Hopefully that's giving the brass some pause and they plan on working on a buyout at some point next season rather than stretch n waive

Next season he'll only have 1 year left on the contract. How hard is it to move an expiring with a coulple of second rounders?

THJR's contract is not terrible with cap continuing to go up but that 15% trade kicker is a a killer. That's why it is important to ship Lee out play THJR at two and let him ball out. He started off last season dead cold and then that injury fukked him up. I'm hoping with Fizdale's direction he might have a great season.

Zion is intriguing. Once in a lifetime athlete brehs. 285 pounds with a 46 inch vertical, guard-like speed, great coordination and body control. He has ball handling and passing skills. Hyperathletic, point forward next to KP.

Draymond on steroids :damn:

Bringing back that Mase/LJ feel :wow:

I understand how his weight is a concern, but breh looks unreal in motion. A guy that size shouldn't be that athletic, he's a glitch in the matrix.

It’s not like he’s fat that boy is cut. He’s probably going to slim down to 260 anyway.

His skill set compliments KP well. Dude could be a great asset based off monstrous athleticism and power, ball handling and passing ability, versatility on both ends.
